HPV Endnote DB
Coming soon: a reference database of articles on HPV.
For consideration: Should there be one database for all articles or multiple databases for several sub-topics?  What should be included in the database?  Should the database be a regularly updating comprehensive search or only articles we specifically add?

HPV Policy Tracking
The NCI State Cancer Legislative Database Program tracks state policies affecting cancer.  With well over 200 records related to cervical cancer and ~100 cervical cancer subtopics to include in searches (which can also be filtered based on state, year, and other variables), this robust tool can be used to find HPV policies in very specific topic areas.

Also, the National Conference of State Legislatures released a report on state HPV vaccine mandates in October 2007.  As of that time, Virgina remained the only state to pass a mandate for school attendance.

Notable HPV publications
Cost-effectiveness of Human Papilloma Virus Vaccination in the United States
This paper addresses the question whether adding HPV vaccination of 12-year-old girls to existing cervical cancer screening programs in the United States would be cost-effectiveness. It found that the cost per quality-adjusted life year gained by adding routine vaccination of 12-year-old girls to an existing screening program ranged from $3,906 to $14,723 (2005 US dollars). In other words, adding an HPV vaccination in the context of existing cervical cancer screening is a cost-effective intervention.
